Backpack Brand Identity

We're excited to share with you some great news that eventually turned into a new project for us. In late 2021, our clients from Bractlet reached out to us to inform us about an acquisition that was taking place. Not long after, they have been acquired and merged with a larger startup — Backpack.

Backpack organizes the data of the built world to help building owners make smarter operational decisions. Powered by advanced software, data, and simulations, Backpack is linking the built world to the connected world.

Having Bractlet as a foundation, the acquisition marked a new start with a fresh outlook on things, which ultimately led to Backpack requiring a fresh brand and design language. Still, the idea of keeping some of Bractlet's identity was put into place as a requirement.
