Mariupol now and before

Mariupol, a Ukrainian city on the north coast of the Sea of Azov. Now it’s deep pain to see what it has become because of russian occupants—the city is completely destroyed. Once there were beautiful areas like a square of Freedom with the doves, now all in ruins.

Thousands of civilians were killed under constant attacks. Thousands were forcibly deported to russia where they’d stay in filtration camps and then, moved to far territories. Kids are forcibly taken from their parents to be raised in alien families where russian propaganda will be part of their daily life.

Is it all a chapter in a history book back from WWII time? Nope, it’s a reality of 21 century. Reality which is happening right now in the heart of Europe.

We, Ukrainians, are thinking and praying about Mariupol each day. We, the world, have to save people who left there—our warriors, the bravest in the world, and thousands of civilians.
