Leslie Cochran was an icon in the Austin Area for his unique and eccentric attire, often participated in parades and was a strong advocate for the homeless. At the time I created this design, the homeless rate had begun to skyrocket in Austin and I created this in hopes of getting a local brewery to create a lager or beer and having a portion of the proceeds go towards the homeless. Then Covid hit and that idea was put on hold. I still seek to see this design used in a way that will help ease the financial burden that the homeless population experiences.
