Design Principles Animation — White Space

I created a series of slides featuring graphic representations of the six primary design principles: Alignment, Balance, Contracts, Hierarchy, Repetition and White Space.

The graphical representations of each principle were designed in a 'Thick Lines' style that can be easily translated into physical media, such as postcards and posters.

White Space gives elements space to breathe and simplifies a design by using as few elements as possible to create emphasis. The space, or background itself doesn’t even have to be white! Just make sure you are using the space to enhance your design and successfully convey your message.
