Design Principles Animation — Repetition

I created a series of slides featuring graphic representations of the six primary design principles: Alignment, Balance, Contracts, Hierarchy, Repetition and White Space.

The graphical representations of each principle were designed in a 'Thick Lines' style that can be easily translated into physical media, such as postcards and posters.

Repetition of objects, typefaces, colors and themes within a design allows a designer to create consistency between elements, resulting in a tighter, more unified design. This is particularly important when a project stretches across multiple pages of a publication, or executions within a brand identity.
