    You have to kern Marketing Script into submission. That e-r kerning pair? Ridonkulous bad.

    With type that doesn't connect or kern well, I custom tweak in Illustrator and reshape the letterforms so it looks natural. I think there's a tendency for today's younger designers (not you, mind you) to let the typeface be sloppy or not kerned or letting it dictate the way it *should* look.

    Agreed. Which is why I spent another hour "kerning" that type after I converted it to outlines. I want to see more designers who care about every pixel.

    Agreed ;) I would tweak it too in Illustrator. I added a custom shape dot on an i and found out that the original dot was not perfectly centered with the vertical line of the i (Dessau Pro Regular). I didn't expect that from a quality font like this.
