Music Player App Interface

Hey guys, Maarten here!

For #DailyUI challenge 9, I created this interface for a music player app. Today I focused more in the user interaction than on the design itself. I tried to incorporate a more tangible approach to playing songs on your phone. I did this by taking a step back and thinking how you had to play a song before smartphones were a thing.

I got inspired by a record player. The idea of the app is that you first have to search the song or album you want to play in your collection of vinyls. You than flip it over to see what songs are on the album. I you've found the song you want to play, you add it to the recorded player. Then you press the button to lower the handle and the song starts playing. You can now see physically as the song plays because of the rotating vinyl. You can even skip forward or move back in the song by rotating the vinyl. Or you could just use the regular buttons.

Let me know what you think of the idea. :)
