Dreams Like This - CD (they still make CDs, right?!)

Friend and musician, Alexa Laine, asked Sara to illustrate album artwork for a song she is about to release, entitled Dreams Like This. Alexa is an Atlanta-based indie/pop artist. Sara's artistic abilities have always been admired by her and she thought that her work would be perfect for the cover art for the next song. The unique thing about this piece is that Alexa asked Sara to incorporate color as well (as we all know, Sara typically draws in black and white). This cover art was inspired by Alexa's desire to have a trippy and floral experience.Sara drew this using watercolor pencils, black acrylic paint, and black sharpie on heavy cardstock.
