I was inspired by @Cub Studio and @Fraser Davidson this week to create a character in Illustrator and come up with an idea for a looping animation.
A lot of Fraser's tips in his "Walk Cycle" SkillShare course are super-applicable to other pieces of character animation that I had never thought of before. For instance, using the pick whip in After Effects to parent the paths of a shape was essential for creating the shadows under the arm and head.
Once again, I have more plans for this animation, but I wanted to first test it to see if the method would work :)
I will post the storyboards soon.
