Red Lion

100% inspired by @Richard Perez's 'Blue Bird' image. I loved the simplicity of the shapes, the spooky eyes and the colours and thought 'Yeah, I'll give that a go too!'.

Partly textured using a Photoshop's built in 'Wet Media' brush set, with extra texture added by overlaying high res watercolour images using the Colour Burn blend mode.
