Data Visualisation of Unicorn Startups in India

In the first 11 months of 2021, more startups (42) received unicorn status (valuations > 1 billion USD) than the previous 10 years combined, also representing a 4x increase over the previous year. That's hard to grasp in words, so I made this visualisation with the logos to communicate the magnitude of this change.

A Junior VC is a community of volunteers who create content on India's startup ecosystem. I volunteer there as a designer.

As part of their "Startup Stories" product, I created a data visualisation on unicorn startups in India, using rawgraphs.io and d3.js library.
