Library Poster Design

For this assignment, I had to come up with a creative spin on the phrase "enjoy a tasty book" and design a character and poster layout for my local library. Since I love all things yarn, cats, and books, "Unravel A Scrumptious Yarn" was the perfect theme for my poster (a secondary meaning for the word "yarn" is "tale or story"). I incorporated tactile textures such as a knitted background, and my cat-girl character is wearing a crocheted granny squares skirt and cable-knit sweater to stick with the fiber theme.
