iOS Project Z: New Task Animation

Creating your own app, you start learning about all the UX nuances that other developers have sprinkled into the apps you use and love. One of those nuances is the threshold that a user must reach before triggering a certain action.

To get a user to pull down the window far enough to reach the threshold to trigger an action, I added a simple animated visual indicator to let the user know when they have gone far enough and to let go of the window.

You see this often in pull-to-refresh mechanisms or other pull/push views to get to another view or trigger an action.
