Dogs vs Cats in 2D Animation

Greetings, animal lovers! 

Some people just can’t get enough of adorable, fluffy kitties, while others prefer the company of a reliable hound. At Zajno, though, we love both equally – so I came up with the idea of an animation in which a dog turns into a cat! After all, "woof" and "meow" even have the same number of letters.

This time I worked in Procreate to establish a concept for the drawings to come –before using RoughAnimator to animate shot-by-shot. To keep things feeling simple and streamlined the picture remained in black and white – but I added a bouncing filter to help bring everything to life.
