Hello there lovely people,

I hope you all had a great weekend so far. I started a new project yesterday of which I wanted to show you some comps. These lil killers are based on some older work I did back in 2013 and I my goal is to apply the style I used to had in my very early days as an illustrator (back in 2006 I did packaging illustrations for a Japanese Sweets Manufactor). I worked with different widths of lines as a "container" and colors as the carrier of the actual message. Most times I drawed by hand and... but ok, that's another story. back to this piece: Redesigning these comps is quite interesting, because the original illustrations from 2013 where purely based on shapes and so it's funny to see how that character changes...

The project itself is internal and deals with a priiiiint, I hope I can handle the excitement until I can show you the whole piece. This has to wait a lil bit, because this is a present. :)
