I want to start this after I move to Palo Alto, if I can gather up enough interest.

Ha, my whole family are Euchre nuts, I may make the drive from San Francisco to join you! Seriously, it was a big event - I'd go visit my southern relatives, we'd always play for hours with cousins and rotate tables.
Dude. You're in. Now we need like 20 more people and it's a club. I'm thinking we play once a week, three games, for 6 weeks, and track scores. That seeds a 6 week double-elim tournament. That's 12 weeks (3 months) for one season.
I'm game, excellent:) - I'll ask around, but the Euchre players are sparse.
wow... you are going to get people on the West Coast to play Euchre?!? I thought that was a mid-west thing. Played it all the time growing up in Ohio.
It's not going to be easy. I figure there has got to be enough transplants though.
It's true - I'm a Chicago kid, my relatives are southern Indiana. It's picking up though, I've heard more and more of the locals with the game, and I'm sure I can convert a couple folks around here.
