Hexoween | Death and Rebirth

We have our next Hexoween design instalment! Inspired in the death and what comes next to it.Did you know that death became a symbol of renaissance? At the beginning of the XVI century, the skulls carved in ivory on one side and with their respective face on the other were the latest trend. Commonly known as "memento morí", these pieces take their name from a Latin phrase that means "remember that you will die".The inspiration for this piece complements the story above with the Alebrije "Pepita" from the Disney movie "COCO", because it represents in a fantastic way the rebirth of the spirit.Death is represented by faded lines that meet each other, joined by dots; while the rebirth is represented by means of colored forms that together give life to the feline face, showing how fun can be the rebirth after death.Let us know if you believe in rebirth after death in the comments below and follow us for more instalments of this Hexoween challenge.
