Tapestries Het Steen, historical landmark in Antwerp, Belgium

Het Steen, one of Antwerp's oldest landmarks has reopened after a long renovation. I was commissioned to create and draw six tapestries for a seventeenth century room. The entire design was meant as a whirlwind experience via historical and mythological situations, people, architecture and art related to the city of Antwerp with some absurdity thrown in for fun's sake. On permanent view for at least the next ten years.
