Slider

Safe Slider Interaction Concept. Sometimes you need to prevent a user from accidentally changing a UI state. Changes can be too sensitive, and you want to make sure that they are intentional and you double-check that a user has an idea of what they are doing.

The concept implies that you support the interaction with haptic feedback to enhance the sense of changing the UI state (especially moving the thumb and error states).

A user has to pull the thumb down to be able to change the value of the slider. If They do this wrong, they see an error state. Also, the slider has a little freeze phase when a user can't move the thumb. The value label's pop-up animation indicates it's ready to be changed.
