Apple iMovie for iOS App Icon (2013)

The redesigned iMovie for iOS icon.

The purple was chosen to evoke the colors of the sky after sunset in Los Angeles, and the star is slightly tilted into perspective to echo the appearance of being in the pavement along the walk of fame.
