Signing up is associated with the user experience because it’s a piece of the whole experience.

We can also connect signing up for an account with achieving the main goals of the application because these things may depend on each other. Signing up can help with accomplishing the goals of the application.

Some applications require users to sign up before they can use the app, whilst others allow their users to use some of the features without signing up.
