American Women's History Poster - Smithsonian

The Smithsonian Institution launched the American Women’s History Initiative—Because of Her Story—in 2018. The initiative is one of the country’s most ambitious undertakings to research, collect, document, display, and share the compelling story of women.

Drawing on Greatness is a set (an activity booklet, poster and digital assets/templates for educators to use in the Smithsonian Learning Lab) sent to Washington D.C. and Los Angeles area schools to educate and inspire the next generation of stories and accomplishments of American women. These are the 9 women featured on the poster design.
