Handmade book: Collected Writings of Galen Barbour

150 pages of Galen’s writing. I got obsessed with collecting it, finding the right dates, annotating, and printing it all together into a book. Thanks to Cereal Box Studio for helping me so much and doing the binding.

When he wasn’t working on commercial fishing boats in Alaska, Galen wrote about art and music events for San Francisco blog Section 925. He would also use his press pass to get into anything he could, like city council meetings and tech conferences. His perspective is so sharp and funny. His personal reflections are heartbreaking and beautiful.

I loved setting body text in Relative Faux and titles in Louize display.
