The color of the border and the blob on the top right corner of the card signifies the type of the Pokemon. The image in the centre sits on top of a circle with a gradient that fades as the we go down towards the bottom of the image.

The scrollbar on the right is also a gradient that gradually changes color. The background of the whole page is also a subtle gradient that changes color as you scroll down on the page.
