Recently had the privilege of doing some animation work for a label I designed. Funk Yo Couch is a beer that Wiley Roots was afraid may not sell well, even after they had decided 26 months ago to age it in mead barrels (which sounds pretty special to me). I wanted to put together some marketing assets that you may not typically see in their feed to pique the interest of folks that might want to get their hands on one of these bad boys. I have been really trying to find ways to tell the story behind their labels in a way that people can digest and buy into emotionally. Taking a hack at that here using a sound bite from the SNL skit the label was based off of. Overall, I am just really hoping to increase the value I bring to the clients I work with, and create enticing assets that translate to money in their pockets, and equity in their brand.
