An Idea I had after reading the many articles/blog posts about avoiding hamburger menus in UI design. Using color coded tabs that pull out and load a new screen after release can remove the extra tap of getting to a menu item using the hamburger menu. I left the hamburger menu option to train your brain and muscle memory to remember which color and menu locations correspond with what tab.
I'd love to hear anybodies thoughts on this idea.
