Our recent project involved the creation of a design solution for an art platform. The site’s goal is the ability to buy and sell artwork, so naturally we opted for a clean and minimalistic look with the main focus on the art pieces. Another goal is to inform the audience, so we made the site as a sort of digital museum and art gallery. Not only does it present the artwork visually, but it gives useful information about the artist and the art itself, this example shows various artists’ profile pages. We wanted the whole web experience to be reminiscent of an art gallery so we implemented the ability to see the artwork in a live mockup of a certain environment.
