Worldwide Challenge Magazine - Forgiving Again

Worldwide Challenge Magazine commissioned me to create a full page illustration, to accompany an article entitled “Forgiving Again”.

The story focuses on a woman’s difficult personal experience on the night of a formal sorority social event, which leads her to consider the idea of forgiveness. The author then talks about the steps of forgiveness she went through, both with herself and others.

It was an interesting and enjoyable challenge to create artwork for a concept as abstract as forgiveness. I created a few versions of the final illustration with different amounts of ripple lines - this one is possibly my favourite.
