MAGnum P.I.e (magpiethat.com)

One of my favorite daily reads is the treasure trove of inspiration blog http://magpiethat.com, created by the children's book connoisseur James Syner. A brilliant part of the blog is to invite illustrators to contribute an illustration of a magpie. James asked me to create one, and this was the quirky bird I came up with. A lil' tribute to one of my favorite tv shows of the 80's Magnum P.I.
