Trays used for surface electrification in industrial and residential environments can be classified based on various factors. For example, these equipments will be classified into the following groups based on the material used to make them:

Galvanized cable tray
This group of cable trays has a metal body made of stainless steel as well as aluminum, which are highly resistant to corrosion and also the heavy weight of the cable group. This issue has a significant impact on the price of cable trays. In order to increase the strength of metal trays, galvanized coating is applied on them, which are divided into two categories according to the method of galvanizing:

Cold galvanized cable tray
The metal trays produced in the salt bath are immersed in zinc and a layer of zinc is created in them, which will increase the resistance to corrosion and rust. Importantly, cold galvanized cable trays are less resistant to scratches than hot ones.
