Portfolio Design Part 1

This is part 1 of the design process for the portfolio website that I am designing for my girlfriend's artwork.

With the artwork being the most important part of this portfolio site, I have decided to use the entire homepage to showcase that artwork, so when visitors come the site they are not distracted by meaningless content.

This is just the beginning of the design process, and the typography and color choices may change. Feedback is always welcome :).
