2020 California Voter's Guide

In light of the 2020 U.S. Elections, I got inspired to design a California Voter’s Guide - a quick and visual way to get up to speed and be informed on what’s going on and who’s running what.

When I was doing my ballot, it was challenging to find a comprehensive guide online that showed me the important details related to my city or district. I found a few websites that were great - packed with insightful information. But on the design front, it was confusing to navigate and it was mostly a chunk of text sprinkled with some links here, and there. It was difficult to parse through the content. So I gave myself a week to sprint through a re-design of my ideal Voter's Guide.

Going through this process made me think deeply about how information can be displayed in a way that’s easier to absorb and navigate.
