HOW USEFUL IS CLOTHING MADE FROM PLASTIC WASTE

Recycled fashion is hip, especially when it's fished straight from the sea. However, manufacturing from plastic waste is not harmless. The demand for resources should not be underestimated. A lot of water and masses of electricity are consumed.
In addition to heating costs, there are also residual chemical products. On the positive side, however, there is an increasing awareness of how to use resources.

Of course, the best thing is that no garbage gets into the oceans in the first place. Recycling won't solve our waste problem, which has to be tackled in a completely different way. Plastic waste continues to destroy and poison ecosystems, and deprives many animals of their habitat. If the sea tilts, everything tilts. It won't end well for humans, either. Because, what a surprise, we are part of nature. There is no "humans vs. nature, unfortunately, still very many people have this image in their heads or think with money everything can be solved.

What you can do? Buy consciously and only as needed. Avoid "fast fashion labels" and "greenwashing labels". Orientate yourself to second hand labels and eco labels. Take good care of your clothes so they last a long time. Pass on your clothes by donating them (make sure they are reputable) or sell them on the flea market/internet.
The conscious decisions and actions of each individual have a positive effect.
