IMDB.com Logo Redesign
IMDB.com (Internet Movie Database) is my go-to source when I would like to watch anything. I have been looking at their logo and thinking it might need an upgrade as their current word mark doesn't look modern especially as an app icon.
First I focused on creating a separate icon. Wanted to combine Movie + Database into a single logo. So used a movie film roll and created a stack of them looking like a database storage device. After completing the icon, created a word mark that is not very special (as I dont like using a detailed word mark combined with a detailed icon) but looking more modern than current version.
