Hello dribbble,

Here's a sneak peek at a design I am working on, and also a call out for some feedback. I have tried to create some different states for the menu to expand / collapse, but I am not sure which would work best and if there is a better method out there..

So I was hoping I could get some feedback by uploading this shot:
1. Is it a bad idea to have the categories collapsed (Shop, services, contact) ?
2. Which method would you prefer for collapsing the menu
3. Do you have any other ideas on how this could be done?

Particularly I have problems with the extra categories when the sidebar is collapsed, I am not sure how to fit them in there and I am worried I will have too many different things going on if they are all showing at the same time.

Here's a short video to demonstrate how the menu works:

Sorry for the bad quality.

Edit: There's a expand/collapse icon at the bottom of the sidebar
