I'm designing a wedding invite for two good friends, and it's meant to feel a bit old-worldly; something a bit different. They're getting married under this huge old tree, so I thought it'd be nice to create a wee scene around it at the bottom of the invite.
Full design so far is attached. Any feedback/recommendations appreciated.

Like the look and feel .. but I'm struggling to work out what the bride and groom are called.
Is it Steven Crosby? Steven Ruth & Allison Bell? Steven Allison and Ruth Bell? And who are Victoria and Malcolm? The parents?
I'm guessing this isn't going to be an issue for people attending the wedding as they're likely to know the couple .. but a bit confusing for an outsider like me.
Cheers Rich. It's Steven Crosbie Allison and Ruth Victoria Malcolm Bell. As you say, I think I'll be able to away with this bit of tomfoolery, as every attendee will know who they are.
I'm totally digging Phaeton for wedding invites. Don't know why.
Yours is lovely.
Wow Boris, yours are stunning! I've had trouble settling on ink colour, but your choice of the bronze and deep red are really elegant. Great work.
Awesome work man. Looking forward to seeing how it comes out.
Any plans for printing yet?
Ali: My friends don't really have a budget to speak of, so there won't be any letterpressing happening. We'll likely have them printed on recycled pulp.

I'll put some photo's of mine up this week. I foilblocked it and used a matt purple against a silver, so it kinda looks like it's been letterpressed and foiled and it wasn't an expensive job. Maybe worth looking at.
Cool, thanks Ali. Look forward to seeing them.
