The 2014 Ram Outdoorsman

Last year we had the opportunity to create a print ad for the new Ram Outdoorsman. The Outdoorsman is a customized version of the popular Ram 1500 pickup designed for hunting, fishing, or any outdoor excursion you can throw at it. The print ad made its debut in Texas and features a bow hunter in Texas Hill Country alongside his truck. It’s always a challenge illustrating vehicles and injecting some style while still being true to the design and trim lines of the car. For this project, we were inspired by 1940s WPA posters and their painterly style. Check out our initial sketch as well as a photo of the actual Ram Outdoorsman on our blog.
