One of the largest challenges for clinicians in navigating an EHR is finding information that is relevant to their current encounter.
I propose a card-based system that allows the user to add information they need for the current encounter based on the context of the patient. This solution, tested with a sports medicine clinician, proposes to save clicks, screen transitions, and cognitive load for actual clinical care.
