Osadia Branding Logo

My first spirits clients felt like the opportunity of a lifetime. I was so excited when Dodd Creative Group had me collaborate with them on the Osadia Tequila brand. What I was told about the brand was that it was small batch, 100% blue agave, and created in Jalisco Mexico.

I wanted to create something modern / elegant to go along with the brand but really eye catching and authentic to stand off store shelves and to be seen from a distance in a crowded bar. The mark itself is an abstract agave plant in a geometric style of ancient pictographs found in Jalisco. The leaves bend to form a perfect droplet, the spirit. This mark was used as a seal of authenticity, and engraved into the glass of the tequila bottle. The bespoke geometric pattern is made to the brand, derived from pieces of the logo to give the label some depth. The pattern uses gold or silver foil depending on the type of tequila.
