Meet Kit! The friendly new mascot for Asterisk.

Asterisk, an open source communications toolkit company, wanted to have a mascot created
to help personify the brand and provide a tool to help the marking team explain the services the
company offers. They also wanted him to work well with their partner company’s mascot, Tango.

Thus, Kit was created. His body shape is a nod to the Asterisk logo, and instead of relying on a
mouth or eyebrows to express his emotions, all of his personality comes from his face screen.

His name, Kit, is a reference to the customizable nature of the Asterisk communications system.
