Early (1977) Winnie The Pooh

Been watching a lot of Disney's 1977 'The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.' The illustration work is truly remarkable. It is interesting how differently various artist interpret and render pooh. I certainly favor the earlier shapes of the character, and so I have been working a bit on solidifying them in my mind.

This was a quick sketch from memory, as best I can manage at the moment. I am thinking of really working out the earlier pooh character mainly because I wish to preserve that version.

So here is a quick rendering, for what it's worth. Hopefully many more to come.
