With a lockdown re-imposed in many places, we begin to miss traveling again. While we stay at home, our design team has explored the idea of virtual tours. We came up with a redesign of Culture Trip, a travel guide app. This is a pandemic-adjusted concept of the app featuring VR tours.
The left screen is a detailed guide page with a description of the tour. The next one is an Explore page where one can search for tours, shops or restaurants that show up on the map. The right screen is a virtual tour page. We used a well-balanced neutral color scheme and added pink elements as accent touches.
With virtual reality tours, users can travel and enjoy sights from all over the world while staying at home.
