External brain (Hubspot design team)

Our brains are actually quite puny: We can't remember more than a few items in working memory. So when we collaborate with a group of designers, we always spend time capturing ideas and organizing them physically in the space. This helps us return to the ideas later. But more importantly, it helps build a shared understanding on the team.
