Covid Collage - Set 05

2020 was a doozy. Back in April, I was determined to make art to express my feelings about everything. I had never tried collage before and the stack of Wired magazines I had collected over the years was calling my name. So with an X-acto blade, a glue stick, a hole punch, and some heavy cardstock, I got to work. 

This process was thoroughly enjoyable and I learned a ton. It also forced me to work with what I had vs. what I thought I needed. These pieces will always remind me to step away from distractions and get messy. My basement ping-pong table is still covered in scraps.
