Ms. Wanner wanted to have a logo that sought to speak to the love felt between family, between parent and child. She also wanted to incorporate swan imagery, a homage to the story that inspired her to do the work that she does.

Using the imagery of an adult (presumably mother) swan looking lovingly down at an exuberant cygnet (baby swan) thoughtfully communicated the familial love Ms. Wanner was looking for in her logo, while also tying in the swan imagery she had hoped for.
