JP Morgan Visual Design Test

Have you ever wondered what a VD design test for JP Morgan looks like?

I had the opportunity to be selected for one of their UI positions I applied for. The recruitment process consists of one interview, a design challenge and a final interview. I made it to the final but unfortunately I didn't get the job at the end in the last stage. I had a positive feedback, but the reason they decided to not take me was because my profile was more for UX than UI and they were looking for someone to focus exclusively on the visual design of the product. If you look at my redesign and compare it with the original one, you'll see that I reimagined functions for some sections that were not established. I believe that you can't just think about the visual without thinking about the accessibility. How can you design something that you don't know what it is for?
Anyway, I'm still proud of myself for being the second finalist out of over 170 applicants.

So I decided to share the design challenge with the community as I didn't find anything on the web about it prior to the challenge. If you are applying for a similar position, you will know what to expect. Also note they're quite slow in this process. First stage was in August, second in September and the final in October.
