Pacific Calm Udemy Project - Mockups
The following project was a free exercise presented as a part of the Graphic Design Masterclass course on Udemy from Lindsay Marsh.
For the exercise, imaginary client wanted to brand a lifestyle gym under the name Pacific Calm. The main focus of an exercise was to design a logo, but one could create a whole brand identity if willing.
Fonts and Colors:
The chosen colors aim to remind one of the sandy beach and therefore, invoke feelings of peace and fun.
The chosen font is strong, similar to what many professional gyms use, but still maintains rounded features and superscript dots in the shape of a water drop.
Whereas spa services tend to use script fonts because their target audience are usually women, I wanted to apply a bolder font to indicate that Pacific Calm offers much more to their clients.
