20 Years of Human Presence on the ISS!

On the 2nd November 2000, astronauts boarded the International Space Station and a human presence has been maintained ever since. Two decades later, and the ISS remains one of science's most incredible achievements, and our only permanent off Earth habitat. Exciting moments in space travel await us in the near future, including a return to the moon and a human mission to Mars. To this end, the ISS provides an impressive example of global collaboration, and an inspiration for our upcoming endeavours in space.

One of the first data visualizations I ever made explored all the astronauts who had called the space station home over the then sixteen years that it had been operational. I thought that today might be a good day to post it again. And it's also nice to look back and think how many data visualizations I've created in the years since!
