The Colonel Stencil Font

The Colonel became an itch I had to scratch. I made the first few letters as a logotype for a BBQ client, and liked them so much I decided to finish it off as well as include scratched and pressed variations. A single weight rounded stencil typeface that’s great for an organic “break in the face” look, military or not. Lower case included as well which is a rarity for stencil families.

Named in memory of my grandfather, Vincent Geiger, who served as a Colonel for the 95th Infantry (ETO) during World War 2.
