Just saw the article posted by dribbble about modular logo design, and wanted to share this system I created. With this being a logo for a record label, it wasn't screen sizes as much as printed goods that dictated the need for flexibility.
To ensure that the logo would function on something as big as a truck, and as small as a pin, I created two alternate versions. As referenced in the article, my goal was to preserve the essential concept while reducing everything else.
As you can see in the additional slides, my main strategy in achieving this was to increase line thickness, remove unnecessary shading, and minimizing the presence of the background trees.
